Golden band

From top left clockwise: Alexander Wang AW11,  Dries Van Noten AW11, Louis Vuitton AW11, Dries Van Noten AW11
I've started my 3 months (or so) internship at Style:Weddings for about a week now. Super thankful to have extremely nice and non-bitchy editors. I've heard stories of how editors made interns cry and quit in the first week of work :/ Had my first wedding editorial shoot today and man, the gowns are bloody heavy. But pictures are so, so gorgeous! I can't wait to see them in print come Sept.

Work aside, I really like this loose ponytail held up with a golden band look by Dries Van Noten! If only I can find a gold band like that.

Pictures of our 12 days trip in Sydney & Gold Coast in random order. We somehow managed to board an earlier flight and touched down on Monday 9.40pm instead of midnight as originally planned. Good thing too, as I was fretting on how to lug my luggages back home.

So, the trip was shopping, wandering around, consulting map by expert map reader (not me, of course), eating like kings at every meal, half-freezing all the time, visiting places with nice sceneries, eating junk food in our room, watching a real-life rugby match at a huge stadium while eating pizza and drinking coke, watching more rugby matches in our hotel room, cuddling, waking up looking like a mess, getting showered with morning kisses (I miss this), playing with cute animals at farms, wasting time at airport, laughing at the most random things we see or hear, getting afraid of drunken man when it gets dark, marvel every night at how early the shops closes and how fast the sun sets, attempting to wake up early enough to see the sunrise, attempting to see the sunset, worrying over how much we've spent but ended up with extra anyway, you opening your birthday card and laughing at comments your friends made, me singing birthday song for you in bed and on the streets at the top of my voice, fearing for our lives at the theme parks, screaming at the top of our lungs on all the rides, me flinging my head backwards and smashing into you at the water coaster, having jaw pains all over the next morning, having you tuck me into bed, baby-talking you into doing nice things for me. First of our many trips to come! :)

Just had to post this picture hehe. So in less than 12 hours I'll be in Sydney and a week after that, I'll be at Gold Coast. I think I didn't overpack this time because my luggage is only half-filled. All ready to shop and eat and go sightseeing with my favourite boy! Praying that we'll be safe there. See you all when im back on the 17!

Happy Labour Day

I brought Jotham to Melt The World buffet @ Mandarin Oriental last Thurs as an early birthday treat since we'll be spending his actual birthday in Sydney. The food was bloody awesome and I had to restrain myself from running amok/grabbing everything to pile on my plate.

Loved this huge seafood bowl the most. Meh, now I wished I had more of it :(

You're so cute.

Last night, I had dim sum with my cg after service at some back alley in Little India. Bleak place (as you can see, we ate near the rubbish dump lol), okay food & awesome company. I forgot to bring my camera ):

I generally judge the standard of dim sum by its chicken feet dish and this failed. It's just blah though there were other nice dishes like egg tarts & char shao buns etc. I guess I'm just picky like that haha.

P.S 3 more days to 12 days of Sydney & Gold Coast!
